Very attractive London girl of Irish stock who used the name Maggie McCully (note the spelling − C not G). The oft-seen use of the letter G stems from a typo that originated on the Vintage Erotica Forum and that was never corrected by the perpetrator. A gorgeous girl, bursting with vitality, she was an all-time ToCo favourite (though, mysteriously, made only 30 appearances) and, arguably, had the most photogenic legs of them all, perhaps because she was a serious dancer. Which makes it more shameful than usual that she would occasionally hide them away under directoire knickers.
There has also been conjecture as to whether the Margaret McCully who received the MBE in 2002 for her work as PA to the principal of the Central School of Speech And Drama is the same person. We’ll never know as no personal details of this gorgeous girl, with toothpaste ad teeth, are available – apart from the fact that she loved trad jazz.
